Week 29

I ordered my 335 Convert in the last week of May. I was told I should get a June allocation. I did. Got my production # on May 31.

Production #3696XXX.

The 800# agent told me today that I am a week 29 production (July 15th). And 6-7 weeks for delivery after production. I am in Northern Cal.

Just though I'd share my info.

Hello All, I'm week 27 #3726XXX. I called the #800 and I have been told production starts first week of July from one person and third week of July from another. Based on the postings here I guess first week of July. I hope to see my car early August (fingers crossed).

I think you are in the first week of July for week 27. I am in week 30.

Based on what I have gotten from other members, you should get your VIN sometime in the next two weeks. Keep us posted if that happens

I have a production number from my dealer, but how do I check to see what the production date is? Dealer told me to go to the BMW owners circle section of the website, but all it says is that the car is on order. Also, how long should I expect to see the car after it goes into production? Any help would be great!!!

Cool Week 27

Greetings fellow July production-mates!

Just found out I am in week 27. (production number 370****) The representative said that production should be within the first week of July.

I have a Montego Blue 335i Coupe with Cream Beige / Gray Poplar on order. I can't wait! Hopefully it will be delivered after August 15th, as I will be out of town from August 5th until then. It would suck royally if it was waiting for me and all I would be thinking about is the car.

Check the ultimate order guide here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=828

the 1 800 number has more info than the OC. Just follow the instructions and then ask to speak to a representative, they should be able to tell you what production week you should be in

Thanks to some help from SKYLINER, I've found out my car is also scheduled for production in week 27. According to BMW, the car should be here in Columbus, Ohio the first week of August. Can't wait!

Question No Production Date 3 Weeks After Getting Production Number?

Received a Prod. No. 3697xxx in late May. CA has not yet provided production week. Called 800-831-1117 and automated line said " Scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet". Is it normal to have no production date after 3 weeks with a prod. no.?

Mine says the same thing

From the Ultimate Order Guide:

Scheduled For Production
Approximately three days prior to your car going into production, OC will reach this stage. The 800 automated information number is much more accurate than Owner's Circle (by two days or so), so use it with your production number to figure out what's going on with your car. The number is 1-800-831-1117; say “Vehicle Production Status” and then read out your production number. If your car production is complete, it will say “Your vehicle production is complete.” This whole stage takes a week or less.

Call the 800 number and speak to a representative. They have more details on your production date and can confirm your order

I ordered mine 6 weeks ago and it still says "Scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet". I am week 26, so it should change soon for me. So yes, it is completely normal to have it say that.

I'm also week 27 production and the woman I spoke with via BMW's 800# said the timeline goes like this:
-27th week means car should be built the first week in July
-production takes 5-7 days
-2 weeks to get to port in NJ

If you're in NYC, you should have your car a few days after it reaches NJ.

That would be nice and it would agree with what my dealer told me "End of July". I can't wait!

Oh that's great news! How long would it take to get from NJ to Chicago after they finish at the prep center? It said that it would take 7-14 days at the prep center on the Ultimate Order Guide.

I'm not sure to tell you the truth, but the woman I spoke with said I would have my car by the first week of August. I would imagine your car would arrive shortly after mine, within a day or two.

Its all good.. I put my depost at the end of April - I was originally June production, then I switched my order to ED, so now I am week 30 production.

I could have had my car in a few weeks if I didn't do that... but now I have to wait for a loong time to get the car. This has been one of the hardest waits of my life... and its not even halfway over. Sure hope ED is worth it.
