NOS anyone attempt?

Not that I want to try it but just curious if anyone's ever tried it and what kind of issues it may cause/ mods you need to make it work without blowing the engine (if that's even possible). Appreciate any info!

You could probably pull off a 50shot easily.

Man I almost pulled the trigger last year but I didn't. Not that I was afraid of doing it but the cost wasn't worth it..

But if you search, there's a huge thread about it. If I remember correctly, some guy has a 100 shot installed in his 330.

Damn I'll try and find the thread, how much would it have costed you and did they say it increased acceleration pretty well? I don't know too much about nos but I figure a 50 shot would give some nice extra pull if timed right in second or third

a 100 shot on a 3.0 motor is asking for trouble. unless he has a direct port kit or something i wouldnt even consider it.

a 50-75 shot is all your going to need. Having headers will really help as well

Yeah I would go look for it but I'm super lazy right now haha.. I don't know much about it either but a 50 shot would be sufficient. My friend who used to be a lead BMW tech and play with NOS back in the day told me it wouldn't hurt or 'blow' up my engine. He also said that it's best to use it over 4-5K RPM. I guess there's a setup where as long as you press down the gas pedal all the way, NOS will continue to feed through your engine until you let go. So it's not like you only go fast 1/4 mile at a time lol. Cost depends, but I seen them range between $500 and way up. And that's not including install cost unless you can do it yourself.

Since I lack the knowledge on this, I can't agree or disagree with you but you should go look for that thread. He shows pictures of it installed and everything.
