Bass going pop
Think I found a flaw with the audio system, not sure if it's just my car, or a general issue.
Was driving to work this morning and noticed that the bass started to making a pop sound when going at speed. Not sure if it was the air pressure from the sun roof being on tilt, or just because the bass speakers are located under the seats so are subject to some pressures from under the car? when slowing down it went back to normal. |

It should not happen like that.
Subs are fixed in tight enclosures and they open to side skirts. If there is any air gap / opening into your side skirts, then it may be possible as you mentioned. Experiment again to see if it is happening or you are just getting anxious about it.

Were you listening to DAB radio by any chance? I get the same but only on DAB and I think it is the signal and not the audio system.

I used to have the exact same problem. Whenever i went over 50-60mph with a window down the woofers popped. Windows closed then no problem. But ever since replacing my underseats its never happened.

Are you sure its not due to an increase in volume due to speed sensitive volume settings? Or is this on low volume anyhow?

I suspect to be able to hear your stereo with the window down at speed you have it pretty much on max, especially if you're hoping to hear any bass from the OE under seats. It's probably just clipping (volume up so loud the HU has run out of steam)
You're probably just on the limits of your stereo. I also second the possibility of the speed dependant volume tipping the scales.
