Hi guys


I have a 2010 325d not had the car long and still trying to learn everything, but what I think iv learnt is I have a combox in the boot that I believe someone has retrofitted, I have a iPhone 8 that wont find each other, I just get a message searching, I also have a error of sos every time I start the car, now curiosity got the better of me and I pushed the button and it went straight through to the emergency services, (we could both hear and speak to each other!) so am I right in thinking that somewhere somehow there is a connection?

I have downloaded a few coding software but not really clued up on what I need to change, so any help will be gladly received!!

If you have and SOS error something on the Most Bus is broken.
If you have diagnostics run those first.
Euro configurations are different , Different Nav's and options like DAB.
The TCU was the original phone module is essentials a cell phone with gps.
The combox is suppose to have the same function(plus the others) and that is why it works
when your cell phone or Bluetooth won't.

Thank you buddy, but im still a little confused!

My radio works fine and I only have a amp and come box in the boot (trunk!) the chap I brought the car from has a dongle thing in the armrest usb that plays music via Bluetooth but not calls.

I had a diagnostic done on the car a few month back and he said theres signal coming from the head unit but not from the bt antenna, and said he could find the code I needed to pair up to,so I went out and brought a new antenna but that didn't solve my problem, so am I right in thinking there must be a problem from the combox to the bt antenna or the other way,

The fact that your bluetooth worked at all meant the antenna was
good . It all goes through the same antenna.

Iv never been able to get the Bluetooth to work!

He is using a Bluetooth dongle, not Combox Bluetooth.

I think your first diagnosis is correct, that he has a MOST problem.

So am I right in thinking, I find the route of the most problem, and its not as simple as coding that function in?

Just purchased a 2011 and Bluetooth states please wait and usb and 3.5 do not work. Combox looks brand new in mine could it be that it wasn't configured ?
