Angel Eyes on sport plus???

Hi, I am due to collect a new sport plus saloon and wondering will it come with the bright white angel eyes and do they stay on as running lights?
if they are not bright white, is there anyway of making them brighter as i do not have xenons.
thanks for replies in advance.

My Sport Plus has yellow angel eyes rather than the bright white ones - think you only get them if you spec xenons.

I dont think they fit white angel eyes to the E90 saloon. I spec'd xenons on my car and still got yellow crappy looking angels.

Only the E92 coupe (and maybe the convertable?) has the factory fitted bright white angel eye lights.

These stay on in the day as driving lamps but you can turn them off in the config set up if required. I've turned mine off - but would have left them on if they were white angels.

You can, there are various aftermarket LED bulbs you can buy for Halogen type headlights but I doubt they will be as bright as the oem bulbs that come with the newer BMW's; (I'm sure somebody on here will corrrect me if I'm wrong).

For reasons other than visibilty I must be the only person who prefers the more subtle look of the dimmer LED bulbs, as they still are an upgrade from the yellow rings but are not so in-yer-face.

Hi BB,

Got my 318d Sport Plus yesterday. I did some research regarding the lights as I had the same question, what are my upgrade options for the 'Angel Eyes' (Corona Rings) with the standard Halogen Headlights?

Still amazed me that the Xenon's are an upgrade on a car at this price though, my last ford focus had Xenon's lol.

This is the car lights in standard form. You can choose via the computer to have these on/off.

This is the upgrade option (same thing, two different suppliers);

Also this is handy;

Off to work for 3 weeks today, but will try these out on my return.

Hope the info helps.

Juiced Up Tuning sell the BMS 6w LED upgrade which seems to be quite popular but don't expect them to be visible on sunny day - I've ordered a 10w Cree LED upgrade from the States which should arrive fairly soon, I'll post a short review & photos once they arrive.

And sorry to be a pain, but anybody got any idea if it is an easy job to swap the bulbs or is a big job to get access to them?

So these are all £39-£49.

So why is this one slightly more expensive? (£59).
