Confirmation of audio upgrade

So I've been thinking about upgrading my audio for some time, currently alpina D3 2006, was originally business HU but I have since replaced with professional and added in BT & USB. Now I'm looking to add DAB and improve the sound although I'm not looking for high end sound improvements. I was thinking the following and wanted confirmation.

Install Alpine retrofit - question is does this needed coded? I think it should be for best output??

Regarding fitting DAB , I'd love to keep the OEM look so without being able to source a professional HU with dab I thought about fitting a dension DAB-U as found here

I'd prefer not to have a window antenna for the DAB so am I correct in thinking if I can source the correct diversity antenna and replace mine with one with DAB I can utilise the existing antenna in the car for fm? Or would I need to fit an extra antenna anyway?

DAB in UK? 64kbps max quality you can get and with all that you dont need alpine kit if you willing to listen DAB stations
