Feeler: New OEM Carbon fiber/ leather trim

Brand new oem carbon fiber/ leather trim for the front dash of an e90. Not sure if I want to install it or not just wondering if anyone would be interested in it.

If you plan to keep you car, install it. I replaced my burl wood trim with CF leather - no comparison. In fact, the only alternative trim that keeps up is the silver machined finish trim seen on some of the newer generation cars. But I still prefer this. It's unique, functional (matte non-reflective finish), and looks great.

I have the aluminum brushed trim in my car currently.

Just the piece to the left of the steering wheel and the piece above the radio. I have the brushed aluminum trim so I don't think it would look too bad mis matched but I don't think I'm going to get around to switching it out.

If you're looking at buying OEM, getbmwparts.com ecstuning.com and many others offer OEM parts for sale.

Alternatively you can (try to) find them used but that's very hit or miss, check the local junkyard, classifieds, ebay, etc.

And finally if you are handy you can try to tackle it yourself with some carbon fiber vinyl wrap * fairly new DIY video here * - but you'll lose the leather part unless you're extremely handy and know how to upholster.
