I have a 08 328i and for the past three weeks I am not able to use my AUX . The SOS malfunction goes off when I start my car and the SAT and AUX options are greyed out . The aux used to disconnect on and off while driving and now its completely no useable . Any idea on how to fix this issue so I can use the AUX option again ? The chimes and radio work fine...

I dont mind the SAT not working but I would like to play music . Thank you for your time !

Sounds like a MOST bus issue... do you have 6FL (USB in center console)? What kind of audio system do you have (HiFi, Logic 7, Harman Kardon)?

This comes up over and over again.
You say you want to listen to music but you say the Radio works
if the radio works does this mean there is a display with no sound
this not clear. Can you play the Radio and the CD and hear sound.
fine this seem like a contradictory statement.
Sat and Mulf hi / TCU can be bypassed with a most loop jumper.


So assuming you have Logic 7
(most common problem is water on the amp.
followed by bad Sat module or one of the other Most
Bus modules.)

Identify your sound system.
