Goodbye non-M Route 16 E90
Sold my car to my landlord's 13 yr old kid 2 weeks ago, so far haven't heard shit from them saying the car sucks or they want their money back. I was on the iffy side if selling to them was a good or bad thing.
But I've had a good 7 yr run. Thought I'd be keeping the car for my kid but I've bought my dream E90 M3 Alpine White. Hasn't been a month yet but so far since I've had the car. I can see that it has been paint corrected, ceramic coated, even the 220M wheels, had installed a Kenwood head unit (BT, iPod/Android, DVD in-motion) with an aftermarket rear view camera, no GPS (that sucks), hard wired radar but my valentine V1 isn't configured for it, tinted 35% all around, paint matched hood vents, CF wrapped side mirrors and roof (which I hate, I'll be taking that out) Got a free oil change with Liqui Moly Waiting for install a GT4 lip APEX arc-8 wheels being powdercoated to a brighter silver finish WORK VS-XX/Brombacher set for the Spring/Summer (can be for sale if anyones interested) 5,8,10,15mm spacers to play with Bought a bunch of stuff already Airlift Performance set up w/ camber plates Downforce USA rear center diffuser Alpine DCT/ECU tune/coding iPE F1 muffler with valve control remotes OEM silver chrome kidney grills (kind of doing the white silver chrome out look as opposed to the black out look) Still need to buy/do Baseline dyno CF performance trunk spoiler CF side skirt extensions MS stage 2 intake Some type of rear diffuser Tee's CF rear bumper fins Diffuserandmore.com rear window dimpled vents DTM 3/4 angel eyes or Orion V4 full circle angel eyes, black out housing I have a bunch of stuff on my page for sale, tires, soon to be 220M wheels with tires, TPMS prelci and lci, N51-52 intake boot, gruppe-m rep cold air intake, tie rods, m3 spoiler, ac schnitzer roof spoiler, delrin shift knob, couple exterior pieces, iPOD AUX/USB cable, etc Last edited by Route 16; 11-27-2017 at 01:33 AM.. |

Sorry that you had to give her up, but glad to hear you've purchased a new toy to fill the void.
Also-- I feel that further clarification might be appropriate here. You had a mean E90 and I'm sure it'd be plenty of car for anybody, but you sold it to a 13 year old kid? He can't even drive it on a permit yet, can he? What gives?

Dad bought it for him so once he has his permit by 16 he has a car already. At 13 it is cool to say that he has a modded out car already to his friends. Quote:
in about 2 weeks, once my apex arc8 wheels are back from powdercoating thank you Tara, PNW cruise 2018!! wouldn't you say it's a pretty extensive description of the car? |

Man you have come a long way dude. I remember you from back in the day with your car you just sold and were pretty active on here as I was back then. How do you like the upgrade definitely a nice change compared to what you coming from? As for the mod list looks like you are still on the right track and still have very similar taste in mods to me. One thing I would do if the Work rims don't sell instead of using spacers ever thought of a rebuild and go wider instead of using spacers

When people say it puts a smile on your face...it really does put a smile on your face, it's the same car but it's not the same car. Going with a rebuild to widen the set lessens my chances to sell them as they are, hence the spacers. I have given them thought about selling them but at the same time. These are my dream set, there's no replacing VSXX/Brombacher's but relipping to 19's would be pretty nice too. Those lips would be huge. |
