No, I have the AFE, and the Eurobox was comparable to the stock airbox

I suspect part of the AFE gain is the intake tube between the TB and the airbox. I wonder if the Euro intake with a silicone intake tube would improve a bit. The thing is, the AFE tube resonates quite a bit and I suspect the silicone tube does too. Not sure a few hp at WOT is worth listening to resonance when you don't want it.

It happens on both, but the AFE has a larger filter surface area as well.

It's always important to remember that "smooth" does not mean "better flow"

conversely, that does not mean that "corrugated" means "better flow" either.

I think that the intake tube is a great way to throw away 50 bucks and get a louder intake. I don't see any real gains coming from it.

Also, stay away from mishimoto!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. The company has a fake engineering front, produces products with inferior manufacturing qualities, and NEVER stands behind their product. I bet if your elbow didn't fit due to a manufacturing error, they would tell you that you're doing it wrong.

Some one did like 6 dyno runs before and after the pipe - it was worth 1-2hp and like 3lb-ft. Nothing significant at all.

I just did Rev hose and carbon delete, already had the K&N oiled filter. I'm not here to claim that it objectively made any difference, but it does feel like it revs a little more freely.

Like someone else said earlier, you can do all three of these for around $100 and 1 hour of your time so it's hard to make a case against doing it even for the "mental factor" of thinking your car is faster

So far of all the mods I've done, 3-stage made the biggest difference (obviously), however I was pretty impressed with BPC tune on its own as well.

I just like the sound with the RM hose better. the stock engine is way too quiet. I'm not into fart can exhaust sounds so this was perfect.

There was dyno evidence that showed it consistently made a small difference. As far as the euro box, you can basically get the same thing with a drop in panel filter and cutting out the charcoal filter.

You can do that, but I can change the filter in my Euro airbox in minutes versus you have to remove the whole airbox and unscrew the two halfs, change the filter put everything back together. Leave it to the Germans to make a 15 to 30 minute job out of something that should take 5 minutes.

I only have to do that maybe every two years - not worth $300 to me.

Btw I was thinking to make an extra hole on a side or bottom of euro box connected with a plastic tube to mesh near bumper fog light same as in dinan intake.

You could do that, I think tetsuo111 has something like that, and it worked well for him. It won't work on my car because of the Msport Bumper.

Sounds like a great setup. I'm curious to hear what you think of the DIY ram air intake hose mod. I don't have the euro box but I would consider doing it with my stock intake (K&N filter, carbon delete, and rev hose).

I'm also curious if anyone has found a smoother hose type than a vacuum hose. If a silicon hose between filter and throttle body makes a difference then surely a smooth hose for the ram intake would be worth something...

I think vacuum hose is more flexible and easier to work on in tide area than silicone tube, but let me know if you will find something better.

Cause I don't want headers. With headers car will be to loud for me and I want to avoid emissions issue.
