Logic 7 Retrofit or Gladen Boxmore?
I'm looking to upgrade my audio in my E93 as I have the base system with CCC and aux in which I use with my ipod.
Now I can get a Logic 7 retrofit done for £1,300 or I can get a Gladen OEM upgrade for £900. Not sure which one to go for so was looking for some opinions. Thanks! |

You must get a AMP or AMP/DSP to drive aftermarket speakers of at Least 50 watt per channel After Market will deliver a better sound . Logic 7 amp at the rated wattage is at 10 percent distortion. If you ever want to open the Windows and still be able to hear your stereo aftermarket . If you are any kind of audiophile aftermarket.
What do you get in that Gladen Kit would be the next question. And it looks like that install is for an F30 with Hi Fi so you will have a different installation an no pre existing Hi Fi Harness. I would talk to them about that or get a Harness of some sort from Technic. May require programming of the Head unit to Hi Fi levels. Needs to be and amp or amp DSP at least all new front speaker kit with tweeters. Amp should meet or exceed 50 watts per channel at way less than 1 percent distortion. The others probably aren't shabby either. Last edited by ctuna; 02-15-2021 at 10:16 AM.. |

I'm going with the Gladen dsp extreme.
Logic 7 whilst OEM from what I've researched and seen mentioned in this thread isn't that great, whereas I've had Gladen equipment in the past and I know its quality. |
